A conference dedicated to Caspian Sea Day was held

A conference dedicated to Caspian Sea Day was held at the Department of Environment of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The event was attended by the Vice President of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Head of the Department of Environment, Shina Ansari, senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, members of Parliament, ambassadors of the Caspian littoral states accredited in Tehran, as well as the governors of Golestan and Gilan provinces.

During the conference, participants exchanged views on important issues related to environmental protection and the preservation of the ecological condition of the Caspian Sea.

Particular attention was also paid to the meeting of heads of state on the environmental issues of the Caspian Sea, which is planned to be held on October 9 this year in the Avaza National Tourist Zone.
