Opportunities for developing cooperation between Turkmenistan and the People’s Republic of Bangladesh were discussed

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov met with Ambassador Nazrul Islam, Secretary for Bilateral Relations with Eastern and Western Countries at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.

During the meeting, the parties discussed current issues of cooperation between the two countries in the political, trade and economic, as well as cultural and humanitarian spheres. They noted the effectiveness of cooperation between the two countries within international and regional organizations.

In this context, the parties reaffirmed the importance of mutually supporting initiatives aimed at promoting peace, stability and sustainable development.
