President of Turkmenistan Receives Turkish Ambassador Şener Cebeci

The President of Turkmenistan received Şener Cebeci, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Türkiye to Turkmenistan.

The Ambassador expressed his sincere gratitude for the opportunity to meet and noted that it was a great honour for him to represent Türkiye in his ancestral homeland, Turkmenistan. He also conveyed warm greetings and best wishes from President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to the President of Turkmenistan and the National Leader of the Turkmen people.

During the meeting, it was noted that Türkiye is one of Turkmenistan’s closest brotherly countries and that bilateral relations are of a long-term strategic nature. The parties also highlighted broad cooperation between the two countries and their peoples in culture, science, art and creative fields.

The President of Turkmenistan expressed confidence that, as Türkiye’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Turkmenistan, the diplomat would make every effort to raise relations between the two countries to a qualitatively new level.

The Ambassador thanked the President for the confidence placed in him and assured that he would work diligently to further strengthen the brotherly relations between the two countries and their peoples and to develop effective cooperation serving the interests of Türkiye and Turkmenistan.
