President of Turkmenistan Receives Japanese Foreign Minister

On August 30, the President of Turkmenistan received Japanese Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi, who arrived in the country on a visit.

The Head of State conveyed his best wishes to the leadership of Japan and expressed confidence that Toshimitsu Motegi’s visit would mark an important step in expanding relations between Turkmenistan and Japan. Turkmenistan and Japan currently maintain active cooperation not only at the bilateral level but also within prominent international organizations, primarily the United Nations.

During the meeting, the parties discussed key areas for the further development of cooperation between the two countries.
