Ambassador of Turkmenistan Y. Gayypov met with the President of the Equestrian Sports Federation of the Islamic Republic of Iran

A meeting was recently held between Y. Gayypov, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Mahmoud Heydari, President of the Equestrian Sports Federation of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on bilateral cooperation in equestrian sports, as well as on events held under the motto “Independent, Eternally Neutral Turkmenistan — the homeland of swift horses and fulfilled aspirations.”

In this regard, the President of the Equestrian Sports Federation of the Islamic Republic of Iran was presented with an invitation to participate in international events involving Akhal-Teke horses, which will be held in the Kingdom of the Netherlands from September 4 to 6 this year.

The Iranian side proposed exploring opportunities to establish cooperation between the Aba Annayev International Academy of Horse Breeding and relevant institutions of the Islamic Republic of Iran, as well as to organize joint equestrian competitions in Turkmenistan and Iran.
