Memorandum of Understanding Signed Between Turkmenistan’s Ministry of Education and PETRONAS Carigali Sdn. Bhd.

A meeting was held at the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan between Education Minister J. Gurbangeldiyev and a delegation led by Malaysia’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Turkmenistan, Mohd Suhaimi bin Ahmad Tajuddin, and the Chief Executive Officer of PETRONAS Carigali (Turkmenistan), Ismadi bin Ismail.

The participants discussed the current state of educational cooperation between Turkmenistan and Malaysia, as well as opportunities for its future development. Particular attention was given to the importance of cooperation in training highly qualified professionals for the oil and gas industry.

The meeting also included the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and PETRONAS Carigali (Turkmenistan) Sdn. Bhd. The agreement will provide an important foundation for expanding cooperation in education and professional training, implementing new joint initiatives and projects, and creating additional opportunities for young people to improve their educational and professional qualifications.
