Approximately 90 Turkmen Students Complete Summer Internships in Malaysia

The International Oil and Gas University named after Yagshygeldi Kakayev hosted a meeting with representatives of Malaysia’s PETRONAS, its subsidiary PETRONAS Carigali (Turkmenistan) Sdn Bhd, and Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS.

Participants discussed strengthening and expanding academic and scientific cooperation under an existing memorandum of understanding.

Approximately 90 Turkmen students completed summer industrial internships in Malaysia, while 14 instructors undertook professional development at the Malaysian technological university. Around 200 students also studied advanced oil and gas technologies through a specialized digital platform.
