Opportunities for cooperation in the field of migration were discussed

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov held a meeting with Serhan Aktoprak, Head of the International Organization for Migration Mission in Kazakhstan and IOM Coordinator for the countries of Central Asia.

During the meeting, the parties identified priority areas of cooperation, including migration management, the protection of migrants’ rights and the development of regional cooperation.

The importance of taking environmental factors and the principles of sustainable development of the Caspian region into account in international and regional cooperation was also emphasized.
