Turkmen Athlete Allayar Shirliyev Wins International Tournament

Turkmen chess player Allayar Shirliyev won the Open A tournament held as part of the 32nd Abu Dhabi International Chess Festival.

Competing in the United Arab Emirates, he scored 8 points out of a possible 9 to claim first place. He also finished ahead of two international masters who had higher ratings.
