Global oil prices have risen

Oil prices rose on the world’s major exchanges.

On London’s ICE exchange, the price of Brent crude increased by $0.99 to $84.76 per barrel.

On the New York Mercantile Exchange, NYMEX, a barrel of Light crude rose by $0.53 to $80.87.
