The mosque in Arkadag City was officially named “Arkadagyň ruhy metjidi”

On August 13, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero Arkadag, paid a working visit to Arkadag City. During the visit, he reviewed design concepts for buildings planned for the next stage of the city’s development, as well as information on their decorative features, and held a working meeting with the participation of relevant officials.

A representative of the clergy, Ý. Hojagulyyev, was also invited to the meeting. He shared the good news that, taking into account proposals received from people across the country, a decision had been made to name the mosque under construction in Arkadag City, designed for 30,000 people, “Arkadagyň ruhy metjidi.” The name was registered by the Ministry of Adalat of Turkmenistan and officially formalized in the prescribed manner.

During the meeting, the Mayor of Arkadag City proposed holding a ceremonial charity meal on Friday at the “Märkaw” Cultural and Recreation Center to mark the presentation of the certificate officially naming the city’s new mosque “Arkadagyň ruhy metjidi.” The Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan approved the proposal, noting the deep significance of holding the charity meal on a Friday.
