The textbook “Innovative Technologies in Agronomy” has been published

A textbook entitled “Innovative Technologies in Agronomy” was recently published for higher education institutions and added to the library collections of agricultural universities.

The textbook focuses on innovative technologies for cultivating agricultural crops, scientific achievements, modern technologies introduced into production, scientifically and practically significant information on water and nutrient regimes, and environmental protection.

The sections of the textbook describe the cultivation of the main crops grown in our country, including wheat, cotton, sugar beet and rice, as well as potatoes, grain and fodder maize, alfalfa and intermediate crops. It also covers their importance in improving soil fertility and the modern machinery and technologies used.

The textbook is intended for students of the Turkmen Agricultural University and institute. It may also be used by students in relevant specialities at specialised secondary vocational education institutions, researchers, specialists, landowners, farmers, tenants and other readers interested in this field.
