Aly Geldiyev will represent our country at an international tournament

One of Turkmenistan’s young tennis players, Aly Geldiyev, will take part for the first time in the “Roland-Garros Junior Series by Renault Qualification for West and Central Asia” international tournament, which will be held in Almaty from August 17 to 22.

The tournament will serve as a regional qualifying event for tennis players from Central and West Asia.

Based on the results of the competition, the strongest players will earn the right to participate in the final stage of the “Roland-Garros Junior Series”, which will be held in Japan in October.

It is there that players will compete for places at the 2027 junior “Roland Garros”, one of the most prestigious tournaments in world tennis.

The tournament in Almaty will be another important test for Aly Geldiyev and a major step towards competing at “Roland Garros”, one of the world’s most prestigious junior tennis tournaments.

A successful performance in Kazakhstan will allow Aly Geldiyev to continue his campaign for a place in the “Roland-Garros Junior Series” final in Japan and, from there, to compete for participation in the 2027 French Open junior championship.
