Ahmet Demirok has completed his diplomatic mission in Turkmenistan

A farewell reception was held in Ashgabat to mark the completion of the diplomatic mission of Türkiye’s Ambassador to Turkmenistan, Ahmet Demirok. The event was attended by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, heads of diplomatic missions accredited in the country, as well as partners and friends of the embassy.

The Ambassador expressed his gratitude to the Turkmen side for the hospitality and support extended to him throughout his diplomatic service in Turkmenistan. He noted that Turkmen-Turkish relations are based on the shared history of the two peoples and their linguistic and cultural closeness, emphasizing that cooperation between the two countries had further strengthened in the fields of economy, culture and education during his years in Ashgabat.

Ahmet Demirok also thanked the President of Turkmenistan and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, for their continued support for the development of bilateral relations. He also expressed special appreciation to Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and the staff of the country’s foreign policy agency for their productive cooperation throughout his diplomatic mission.
