Japan will develop training and professional development programmes for Turkmen specialists
Turkmenistan’s Ambassador to Japan, A. Bayramov, held a meeting with Akihiko Tanaka, President of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects of cooperation between Turkmenistan and JICA, including the implementation of existing technical cooperation projects, the development of training and professional development programmes for Turkmen specialists, cooperation with the University of Tsukuba on training specialists in the field of hydrogen energy, the promotion of the “One Village, One Product” initiative, as well as opportunities to expand cooperation in such areas as digitalisation, healthcare, sustainable development and human capital development, artificial intelligence and digital transformation, economic, industrial and technological exchanges, and cultural and tourism exchanges.
