New water management facilities were opened in the Gökdepe district and the city of Ashgabat

New water infrastructure facilities have been opened in the Gökdepe district of Ahal province and in the city of Ashgabat. Using digital water management, agricultural fields with a total area of 6,198 hectares will be irrigated efficiently via the 21st and 22nd water pumping stations, which were constructed to irrigate the arable land within the Gökdepe district. The water flow regulation and control facility, built on the 793rd kilometre of the Garagum River in the city of Ashgabat, has a capacity of 181 cubic metres per second, and all operations are managed automatically.
