Turkmenistan Culture Days are being held in Georgia

Turkmenistan Culture Days are currently being held in Tbilisi, Georgia.

The opening ceremony was accompanied by a large-scale exhibition of works of national decorative and applied art. It featured museum treasures and works by painters and sculptors. This provided exhibition participants with an excellent opportunity to become acquainted with the distinctive character and noble traditions of the Turkmen people.

A meeting of creative professionals and library workers from the two countries, held as part of the cultural forum, further enriched its content. It was noted that there are currently extensive opportunities for exchanging experience and intensifying cooperation in the relevant fields.

The cultural programme then continued with meetings between theatre leaders from Turkmenistan and Georgia. As noted, there are significant prospects for developing relations between theatre professionals of the two countries. During the meeting of stage artists, views were exchanged on the current level of theatrical art and matters concerning its further development.

Members of Turkmenistan’s creative delegation toured the sights of Tbilisi and prepared video recordings of memorable moments.

The joint performance by the singers of Hero-Arkadag’s song “Forward, Forward, Only Forward, My Beloved Homeland Turkmenistan!” at the end of the concert was particularly impressive.
