Railway stations will be built in the Ahal, Balkan and Mary regions

At the regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held via a digital system on July 24, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Annayev reported on the ongoing work to improve the railway transport sector.

It was noted that, as part of the country’s socioeconomic development efforts, the construction of modern railway station buildings is planned in the regions. Relevant work is currently being carried out in this area.

This will help further improve the efficiency of the sector and create modern and comfortable working conditions for its employees.

In this regard, the Deputy Prime Minister submitted the relevant proposals for consideration by the head of state.

After hearing the report, the President of Turkmenistan noted that effective work is being carried out to modernize the country’s railway transport sector.

The head of state approved the proposals to construct modern railway station buildings in the Ahal, Balkan and Mary regions and instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to carry out the necessary work.
