A telephone conversation was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation

During a telephone conversation between Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov, the parties discussed issues on the agenda of Turkmen-Russian relations.

This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

Particular attention was paid to the further strengthening of humanitarian cooperation between the two countries. The parties noted the importance of intensifying joint educational and cultural projects.

They also discussed upcoming meetings related to high-level multilateral events scheduled to be held in Turkmenistan in October 2026.
