How many people will become students in Turkmenistan this year?

Last year, around 17,000 students were admitted to higher education institutions in Turkmenistan. In 2026, this figure will exceed 18,000. More precisely, 1,239 additional applicants will be admitted.

At the expanded meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held by the President of Turkmenistan on July 10, it was decided to organize admissions to higher and secondary vocational education institutions from July 13 to August 24 this year.
