The President of Turkmenistan received the Minister of Roads and Urban Development of the Islamic Republic of Iran
On July 27, the President of Turkmenistan received Farzaneh Sadegh Malvajerd, Minister of Roads and Urban Development of the Islamic Republic of Iran, who was visiting the country.
The Iranian Minister expressed gratitude for the opportunity to meet and noted that Iran attaches great importance to developing friendly relations with Turkmenistan. Taking the opportunity, she conveyed warm greetings and best wishes from President Masoud Pezeshkian to the President of Turkmenistan and the National Leader of the Turkmen people.
The President of Turkmenistan conveyed his best wishes to the head of the friendly state and expressed confidence that the guest’s meetings and talks with Turkmen counterparts during her visit would contribute to the further development of relations between Turkmenistan and Iran.
Iran holds one of the leading positions in Turkmenistan’s foreign trade turnover. Effective and mutually beneficial relations are developing in such sectors as fuel and energy, transport and communications, construction, agriculture, and transport and communications infrastructure. Contacts between representatives of the private sector are also being steadily intensified.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the President of Turkmenistan and the guest expressed confidence that productive interstate relations would continue to develop and strengthen in the interests of the friendly peoples of the two countries, and exchanged best wishes.
