Six new master’s degree programmes have been launched

Six new master’s degree programmes are being introduced in Turkmenistan: Computer Systems Software, Information Security, and Economics and Management of the Oil and Gas Industry at the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas; Plant Protection and Biotechnology at the S. A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University; Economics and Management of the Fuel and Energy Complex at the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan; and Peace and Neutrality at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

Each of the new fields of study is closely linked to the country’s strategic development programmes.

Training highly qualified specialists in these areas is an important condition for the successful implementation of the objectives set out in Turkmenistan’s long-term development programmes.
