Ways to develop Turkmen–Turkish cooperation were discussed

During a meeting between Turkmenistan’s Minister of Education, Jumamyrat Gurbangeldiyev, and the Rector of the University of the Turkish Aeronautical Association, Professor Dr Rahmi Er, the parties discussed ways to further develop Turkmen–Turkish cooperation.

Representatives of the education and aviation sectors of the two friendly countries also attended the meeting.

The parties exchanged views on the current state of Turkmen–Turkish cooperation in education and science, as well as opportunities to train highly qualified specialists for the aviation industry.

Professor Dr Rahmi Er provided detailed information about the university’s activities and cooperation in training Turkmen pilots.

During the talks, the parties considered expanding educational cooperation in civil aviation, flight safety, aviation technologies, logistics, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.

They also discussed organizing academic exchanges for students and faculty members and developing joint educational programmes.
