A Turkmen cargo terminal will be established on the Black Sea

Turkmenistan is holding talks on establishing its own cargo terminal on Georgia’s Black Sea coast.

The President of Turkmenistan stated this in his address at the Turkmen–Georgian business forum held in Tbilisi.

He also particularly emphasised the need to involve private businesses in creating related logistics systems and using special opportunities for the transit of goods and services.

It should be noted that trade turnover between Turkmenistan and Georgia increased by 26 percent in 2025, exceeding 100 million US dollars.
