The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan is visiting Turkmenistan

A delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, headed by Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov, arrived in Turkmenistan for a two-day official visit.

The purpose of the visit is to hold the next round of political consultations between the foreign ministries of the two countries to strengthen their strategic partnership.

The programme for the first day of the Uzbek delegation’s visit to Ashgabat was devoted to exploring the country’s historical and cultural heritage.

On the second day of the visit, the ministerial delegations will hold several rounds of high-level talks.

Following the negotiations, a set of joint documents is expected to be signed.
