The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan issued a statement on the inadmissibility of actions in the Caspian Sea

In connection with reports published by international media concerning an attack on a vessel in the waters of the Caspian Sea, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan states that such actions are unacceptable.

The ministry’s website emphasizes that Turkmenistan, as one of the Caspian littoral states and a country possessing the status of permanent neutrality recognized by the United Nations, particularly stresses that the Caspian Sea is a sea of peace, harmony and good-neighbourliness.
