The Pushkin Institute invites participants to take part in the 22nd International Russian Language Olympiad

The Pushkin Institute invites international school students to take part in the 22nd V.G. Kostomarov International Russian Language Olympiad. Students aged 14 to 18 are eligible to participate.

The Olympiad will be held in two categories: for students learning Russian as a foreign language and for pupils attending schools outside Russia where instruction is provided in Russian.

Registration is open until 14 September on the “Education in Russian” portal (https://pushkininstitute.ru). The qualifying round will take place online from 15 September to 4 October, while the semi-final will be held online from 10 to 25 October.

The final will take place in person from 13 to 19 November in Moscow, at the Pushkin Institute.

Participants who place first, second or third in each category will be entitled to complete a three-week supplementary online education programme at the Pushkin Institute.
