The Türkmennebit State Concern, on behalf of the tender commission for selecting suppliers of goods, works and services for Turkmenistan’s oil and gas sector, has announced open international tender No. 217 for the major overhaul of NK-16ST and NK-16-18STD gas turbine engines and their modules. Only manufacturers meeting the requirements specified in the tender documentation may participate. To take part in the tender, applicants may apply to the Türkmennebit State Concern building and must: submit a written application stating the applicant’s full name, legal status, country of registration and bank details; review the Law of Turkmenistan “On Tenders for the Supply of Goods, Performance of Works and Provision of Services for State Needs,” the “Rules for Conducting Tenders,” and the documents required for participation; obtain the tender’s main technical requirements and the principal terms of the contract; obtain the account number for payment of a non-refundable participation fee of US$1,725, or its equivalent in manats, excluding VAT and bank charges. Tender proposals will be accepted until 12:00 p.m. local time within 30 working days from the date the announcement is published in the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper. The account number for transferring funds will be provided upon submission of the written application. From the date of publication of the announcement, a sealed envelope containing the complete tender proposal should be sent to the stated address and will be considered after funds have been transferred to the account. The envelope must include an electronic version of the questionnaire, the main characteristics of the contract in Word format and the technical and economic specifications in Excel format.
