The Turkmengeology State Corporation, on behalf of the commission responsible for selecting suppliers of goods to Turkmenistan’s oil and gas sector through competitive bidding, has reannounced open international tender No. 01/26(1) for the procurement of materials and equipment. Only manufacturers that meet the requirements specified in the tender documentation may participate. Lot No. 2 — general plant, technological and drilling equipment. To participate in the tender, applicants must: submit a written application specifying the applicant’s full name, legal status, country of registration, bank details and information about its activities. Applications from companies registered in offshore jurisdictions or holding bank accounts there will not be accepted; review the Law of Turkmenistan “On Tenders for the Supply of Goods, Performance of Work and Provision of Services for State Needs,” the “Rules for Conducting Tenders” and the documents required for participation; obtain the lot specifications, relevant technical requirements and principal terms of the contract; obtain the account details required to pay a non-refundable participation fee of US$500 per lot or its equivalent in Turkmen manats, excluding VAT and bank charges. The account details for transferring the funds will be provided upon submission of a written application. Following publication of the announcement, a sealed envelope bearing the appropriate official stamp and containing the complete tender proposal must be sent to the address indicated below. Evaluation will begin after the funds have been transferred to the account of the Turkmengeology State Corporation. The envelope containing the tender proposal must be prepared in accordance with the requirements specified in the tender documentation. It must include an electronic version of the questionnaire, the principal contract specifications in Word format and the technical and economic specifications in Excel format. Applications for account details must be submitted no later than 29 working days from the date this announcement is published in the newspaper. Tender proposals will be accepted until 12:00 noon local time within 30 (thirty) working days from the date the announcement is published in the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper.
