President of Turkmenistan Holds Working Meeting via Digital System

On October 12, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting via a digital system with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atahallyyev and the governors of the country’s velayats. The meeting addressed issues related to ongoing work in Turkmenistan’s agricultural sector and regions.

First, the floor was given to Governor of Ahal Velayat T. Nurmyradow, who reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural work in the region. As noted, necessary measures are currently being taken to accelerate the cotton harvest, gather the crop without losses, and deliver it to the state collection points. Measures are also being implemented to ensure the efficient operation of agricultural machinery, cotton-processing enterprises, and cotton reception facilities during the harvesting season.

At the same time, wheat sowing continues in the velayat, with agricultural machinery and equipment operating at full capacity. Newly sown fields are being irrigated. In addition, coordinated work is being carried out on agricultural land to care for autumn potatoes, vegetables, melons, and other food crops, harvest the produce, and deliver it to the population.

The governor also reported on the progress of construction work at social, cultural, and industrial facilities scheduled to be commissioned in the velayat this year.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the need to accelerate the harvesting of the cotton crop and conduct wheat sowing within the required agrotechnical deadlines. He instructed the governor to keep this work under constant supervision.

The head of state also instructed officials to ensure that construction work at facilities scheduled to be commissioned in the velayat this year under the country’s socio-economic development programs is completed on time and to a high standard.

The floor was then given to Governor of Balkan Velayat R. Jumayev. First, on behalf of all residents of the velayat, the governor expressed sincere gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan and Hero-Arkadag on the occasion of the opening and commissioning of several healthcare facilities in Balkanabat, wishing them good health, long life, and continued success in their large-scale work for the benefit of the people and the country.

The governor then reported on the seasonal agricultural activities underway in the velayat. As noted, work is currently being carried out to harvest the cotton crop without losses, ensure uninterrupted reception of the harvested cotton, and provide proper storage.

At the same time, efforts are underway to ensure high-quality wheat sowing within the required agrotechnical deadlines, the full use of agricultural machinery involved in sowing, and irrigation of the sown fields.

In line with the President’s instructions to further strengthen food abundance in the country, relevant work is being carried out on agricultural land in the velayat to grow a rich harvest of autumn potatoes, vegetables, and melons.

The governor also reported on construction work at social, cultural, and industrial facilities and buildings scheduled to be commissioned in the velayat this year.

After hearing the report, the President drew attention to the importance of the ongoing seasonal agricultural work and instructed the governor to ensure that cotton harvesting and wheat sowing are carried out within agrotechnical deadlines and at a high organizational level.

The head of state also emphasized the importance of successfully fulfilling the objectives set out in the country’s socio-economic development programs and instructed that work in this area in the velayat be completed on time and to a high standard.

Governor of Dashoguz Velayat D. Babayev then reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural work in the region. According to the report, necessary measures are being taken to harvest the cotton crop quickly and without losses. Agricultural machinery is operating at full capacity, while the harvested cotton is being received without interruption at cotton reception facilities.

Wheat sowing continues in the velayat, and normal germination is being achieved on sown fields. Agricultural machinery and equipment are being used efficiently and at full capacity.

At the same time, work continues on caring for autumn vegetables, melons, and other agricultural crops, as well as harvesting the produce and delivering it to the population. Rice harvesting has also begun in the velayat, and necessary measures are being taken to complete the season on time.

The governor also reported on the progress of construction work at social, cultural, and industrial facilities scheduled to be commissioned in the velayat this year in accordance with the country’s economic development programs.

After hearing the report, the President emphasized that the current seasonal agricultural work must be carried out within the established agrotechnical deadlines and at a high organizational level. In this regard, he gave the governor a number of instructions to accelerate the cotton harvest and ensure the timely and high-quality sowing of wheat.

The head of state also instructed the governor to oversee the high-quality completion of construction work at buildings and facilities of various purposes scheduled to be commissioned in the velayat this year under the country’s socio-economic development programs.

Governor of Lebap Velayat H. Ashyrmyradow then reported on the seasonal agricultural work underway in the region. According to the report, as part of the current seasonal campaign, appropriate work is being carried out to harvest the cotton crop without losses and deliver it to state collection points.

Necessary measures are being taken to ensure uninterrupted operation of agricultural machinery, cotton-processing enterprises, and cotton reception facilities.

At the same time, wheat sowing continues in the velayat, with agricultural machinery and equipment operating at full capacity during the sowing campaign. The sown fields are being irrigated.

Work is being carried out in an organized manner on fields planted with autumn potatoes, vegetables, melons, and other agricultural crops to care for them, harvest the produce, and deliver it to the population.

At the same time, preparations are underway to harvest the rice crop grown in the velayat within a short period.

Governor of Mary Velayat B. Orazgylyjow then reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural work in the region.

First, on behalf of the residents of the velayat, the governor expressed sincere gratitude to Arkadagly Hero Serdar and Hero-Arkadag on the occasion of the opening and commissioning of a healthcare facility in the city of Mary, wishing them good health, long life, and continued success in their extensive work for the benefit of the people and the country.

The governor then reported on the ongoing seasonal agricultural work in the velayat. As noted, farmers are currently carrying out the necessary work to harvest the cotton crop without losses.

During the harvest campaign, special attention is being paid to ensuring that agricultural machinery operates at full capacity and that harvested cotton is received without interruption at cotton-processing enterprises and collection points.

At the same time, necessary measures are being taken to carry out high-quality wheat sowing for next year’s harvest within the established deadlines, irrigate the sown fields, and ensure normal germination.

Work is also underway to care for autumn potatoes, vegetables, melons, and other agricultural crops and to harvest the produce.

On fields planted with sugar beet, inter-row cultivation, mineral fertilization, and irrigation are being carried out.

The governor also reported on the state of construction work at facilities scheduled to be commissioned in the velayat this year in accordance with the National Rural Program.

Rice harvesting continues in Dashoguz and Lebap velayats, while work is underway in Mary Velayat to care for sugar beet fields.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of carrying out the current seasonal agricultural work, particularly cotton harvesting and wheat sowing, in a timely and highly organized manner. He instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to keep the work being carried out in this area across the country under control.

Addressing the participants of the working meeting, the head of state once again emphasized that the agricultural sector is currently in a critical season — the cotton harvest and wheat sowing campaign. He instructed officials to accelerate the harvest, carry out all necessary measures to gather the crop quickly and without losses, ensure that wheat sowing is conducted within the established agrotechnical deadlines, and make full use of agricultural machinery in these operations.

Concluding the working meeting held via the digital system, the head of state wished all participants good health, family well-being, and great success in their work.
