Turkmen Athletes Achieve Great Success at World Cup

At the 2026 Sambo World Cup held in Tajikistan, the Turkmenistan national team won four medals. The team’s medal tally includes one gold and three bronze medals.

The gold medal in women’s sport sambo in the up to 50 kg weight category was won by Ykbal Saparova. Sapar Dovletov, Abdulla Nazargeldiyev, and Malikberdi Begiyev earned bronze medals.
