TAPI Project Could Create More Than 12,000 Jobs in Afghanistan

The Turkmenistan–Afghanistan–Pakistan–India (TAPI) gas pipeline will make it possible to create more than 12,000 jobs in Afghanistan. Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Hero-Arkadag stated this during a lecture dedicated to Knowledge and Student Youth Day.

Hero-Arkadag also emphasized that Turkmenistan has the capacity to increase electricity supplies as part of the implementation of the Turkmenistan–Afghanistan–Pakistan project.
