May your path always be bright as you worthily express the great achievements being realized in our Independent, permanently Neutral State of Turkmenistan, our glorious history, national culture and happy era through your sweet-voiced and artistically meaningful songs and musical works flowing from your hearts.

The Turkmen musical treasury is a boundless ocean. Having entered the stage of world history as a nation that creates sciences, knowledge and culture, the Turkmen people have made an immense contribution to musical art as well. Our enchanting velvet-voiced songs, magical melodies and national musical instruments such as the dutar, gijak, gargy tuyduk, dilli tuyduk, gopuz and dep are the unfading glory of our centuries-old national musical art, culture and rich spiritual world. This inexhaustible cultural heritage inspires our hearts and reveals to the whole world our patriotism, humanism, love of peace, unity and generosity of spirit.

By continuing the traditions of such classical bagshy musicians as Shukur Bagshy, Amangeldi Gonubek, Kel Bagshy, Mylly Tachmyradov, Magtymguly Garlyyev, Mustak Aymedov, Odenyaz Nobatov, Sahy Jepbarov and Nurberdi Gulov, you inspire our people toward great achievements and new heights. Through your soul-stirring music, you glorify our national pride in the beloved Motherland, our independence and neutrality, the glorious progress of our great era, patriotism and humanism.

The ‘Pearls of Independence’ contest for talented children cultivates a love of the world of art in our happy young citizens and reveals their talents and abilities. At the same time, it ensures that our national musical art is passed from generation to generation and continues without end.
