President of Turkmenistan Congratulates Shavkat Mirziyoyev on Uzbekistan’s 35th Independence Anniversary

On behalf of the people and Government of Turkmenistan, as well as personally, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov extended heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the brotherly people of the country on the 35th anniversary of Uzbekistan’s independence.

“During the years of sovereign development, the Republic of Uzbekistan has achieved significant success in strengthening the foundations of statehood, improving the well-being of its people and enhancing the country’s international standing,” the Head of State emphasized in his message.

The President of Turkmenistan noted with satisfaction that Turkmen-Uzbek relations, based on the principles of good neighborliness, friendship and mutual support, are currently developing with increasing momentum and consistency and are distinguished by mutual trust, equality and openness. He expressed firm confidence that, through joint efforts, the fraternal relations of a strategic nature would continue to develop for the benefit of both peoples.

Taking this pleasant opportunity, the Head of State wished President Shavkat Mirziyoyev good health, happiness and well-being, and the brotherly people of the Republic of Uzbekistan peace, prosperity and progress.
