Hero-Arkadag Meets with Executive Director of the German Eastern Business Association
National Leader of the Turkmen People, Hero-Arkadag, met with Michael Harms, Executive Director of the German Eastern Business Association.
Michael Harms once again warmly welcomed Hero-Arkadag on German soil, thanked him for finding time for the meeting and noted that Germany attaches great importance to developing mutually beneficial cooperation with Turkmenistan. Taking the opportunity, he conveyed warm greetings and best wishes from German Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Federal Chancellor Friedrich Merz.
The Executive Director of the German Eastern Business Association stated that Akhal-Teke horses, a magnificent example of the national heritage of the Turkmen people, enjoy great renown throughout the world. The World Championship in beauty and equestrian competitions among Akhal-Teke horses held in the Kingdom of the Netherlands is a clear example of this. In this regard, Michael Harms expressed his sincere gratitude to the National Leader for the invitation to participate in this important event.
He also noted that he regularly reads Hero-Arkadag’s remarkable works, which vividly reflect the high esteem accorded to the heavenly steeds, and emphasized the extensive efforts undertaken at the initiative of the National Leader of the Turkmen People to promote Akhal-Teke horses worldwide and preserve them for future generations.
Hero-Arkadag thanked him for the kind words and hospitality, conveyed his best wishes to Germany’s leaders and noted that cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Federal Republic of Germany is developing effectively in various fields.
The National Leader of the Turkmen People emphasized the importance of the Executive Director’s visits to Turkmenistan. The Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan particularly stressed that trade and economic relations are among the key areas of bilateral cooperation. Effective collaboration in healthcare, agriculture and other sectors also holds an important place. A number of major German companies have been successfully operating in the Turkmen market for many years.
Hero-Arkadag also gave special attention to Turkmen-German cooperation in healthcare, noting that advanced German technologies and equipment have been installed at medical facilities planned for opening this year in connection with the Day of Healthcare and Medical Industry Workers of Turkmenistan. As noted, these modern medical centres are engaged in productive cooperation with German specialists on the use of artificial intelligence capabilities.
Taking the opportunity, Hero-Arkadag invited Michael Harms to take part in the celebrations that will be widely held in Turkmenistan to mark the glorious 35th anniversary of the country’s independence and the Day of Healthcare and Medical Industry Workers.
Thanking him for the invitation, the Executive Director of the German Eastern Business Association confirmed Germany’s readiness to develop cooperation with Turkmenistan in all fields. Michael Harms noted the significance of the medical cluster being built in Arkadag City and expressed the German side’s interest in developing cooperation and exchanging experience in this area.
At the conclusion of the meeting, National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Hero-Arkadag and Executive Director of the German Eastern Business Association Michael Harms expressed confidence that bilateral cooperation would continue to strengthen and exchanged their best wishes.
