The President of Turkmenistan visited the “Archman” sanatorium located in Baherden District

On August 19, the President of Turkmenistan visited the “Archman” sanatorium located in Baherden District of Ahal Region.

The Head of State inspected the ongoing work on the construction of an additional complex of buildings for a new treatment center, as well as the further modernization of several existing facilities. Construction and modernization work at the sanatorium is currently in its final stage.

Minister of Health and Medical Industry M. Gayypov reported on the current state of the newly constructed building complex and the facilities undergoing further modernization, their level of equipment and provision, as well as the relevant projects and layouts of associated infrastructure. The work is being carried out in accordance with the President’s previous instructions and the recommendations of Arkadag the Doctor.

The presented projects include the extensively modernized “A” and “B” buildings of a new 400-bed sanatorium facility, a dining hall, phytobar and teahouse, a 300-seat conference hall, a mineral water drinking facility, children’s playrooms, a gym designed for various exercises, a therapeutic water treatment building, and a four-story parking facility.

The President of Turkmenistan closely reviewed the presented projects, site plans and the facilities being created within the complex, made a number of remarks and introduced appropriate adjustments.

The Head of State emphasized that the successful completion of the work currently at its final stage, as well as ensuring that the planned construction is completed on schedule and to a high standard, are important tasks. Specific instructions were given to maintain constant oversight of the high pace of the work.

At the same time, particular attention should be paid to ensuring high-level preparations for and the well-organized opening ceremony of the building complex on the Day of Health and Medical Industry Workers in the year marking the glorious 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Independence.
