Winners of the “Chalsana, Bagshy!” Competition Announced

The final stage of the “Chalsana, Bagshy!” competition, held as part of the contest for the President of Turkmenistan’s “Golden Age of the Turkmen” award, concluded with the announcement of its winners.

Under a document signed by the President of Turkmenistan, dutar-playing bakhshi singers and musicians who distinguished themselves through successful performances and exceptional skill were declared winners. Each received a gold chain from the President of Turkmenistan.

Täçmämmet Altymyradowiç Pürmämmedow, third-year student at the Faculty of Telecommunications of the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan;

Ýusup Gaýgysyzowiç Baýjykow, instructor at the Department of Turkmen National Musical Instruments of the Sahy Jepbarow Specialized School of Arts in Arkadag;

Didarmuhammet Wepaýew, third-year student at the Department of Turkmen National Musical Instruments of the Sahy Jepbarow Specialized School of Arts in Arkadag;

Merjen Merdanowna Jumabaýewa, first-year student at the Faculty of Folk Music of the Maýa Kulyýewa Turkmen National Conservatory;

Yhlas Kakageldiýewiç Samadow, fourth-year student at the Faculty of Folk Music of the Maýa Kulyýewa Turkmen National Conservatory;

Balkan Region:

Güljemal Rejepmyradowna Çakanowa, bakhshi instructor at Children’s School of Arts No. 2 in Balkanabat under the Balkan Regional Department of Culture;

Öwezgeldi Baýramgeldiýewiç Gutlyýew, fourth-year student at the Faculty of Folk Music of the Maýa Kulyýewa Turkmen National Conservatory;

Dashoguz Region:

Aýperi Begenjowna Artykowa, Turkmen language and literature teacher at Secondary School No. 7 in the Gorogly District of Dashoguz Region;

Sahy Nepesowiç Täçmedow, fourth-year student at the Department of Music of the Magtymguly Garlyýew Specialized School of Arts in Dashoguz;

Lebap Region:

Esen Bagtyýarowiç Atamuradow, fourth-year student at the Department of Bakhshi Arts of the Lebap Regional Specialized School of Arts;

Jeýhun Ataniýazowiç Çaryýew, instructor at the Children’s School of Arts in the Kerkiçi settlement of Dowletli District under the Lebap Regional Department of Culture;

Mary Region:

Oguljennet Bazarmyradowna Hojakowa, bakhshi instructor at Children’s School of Arts No. 3 under the Ashgabat Department of Culture;

Aýnäzli Maksatmyradowna Rahmanowa, fifth-year student at the Faculty of Folk Music of the Maýa Kulyýewa Turkmen National Conservatory.
