The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan met with the European Union Ambassador to Turkmenistan

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the European Union to Turkmenistan, Beata Pęksa.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the current state of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the European Union and prospects for its further development, as well as on key issues of the international and regional agenda.

The parties emphasized the importance of regular political dialogue and constructive engagement in strengthening and expanding cooperation between Turkmenistan and the European Union. Particular attention was paid to cooperation in environmental protection and the preservation of the Caspian Sea ecosystem.
