Extended meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan

Today, President Serdar Berdymuhamedov held an expanded meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers to summarize the work carried out over the first six months of the current year, review the progress in implementing the country's socio-economic development programs, and address personnel issues. The meeting also featured reports from the Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, several department heads, and the khyakims (governors) of the velayats (regions).

Representatives of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, members of the State Security Council, khyakims of the regions, as well as the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag, rectors of higher educational institutions, editors of newspapers and magazines, and other officials were invited to the expanded Government meeting.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers H. Geldimyradov was the first to speak, reporting on the macroeconomic indicators of the national economy for the first six months of the current year.

As reported, the GDP growth rate for the specified period was 6.3 percent, including 2.7 percent in the industrial complex, 6.7 percent in construction, 10.4 percent in the transport and communication sector, 8.5 percent in trade, 2 percent in agriculture, and 8.4 percent in the services sector.

Compared to the same period in 2025, overall production output for January–June of the current year increased by 10.4 percent. Positive production indicators were achieved across the economic sectors.

The volume of retail trade for the six months increased by 10.1 percent compared to the corresponding period last year, while foreign trade turnover grew by 7.5 percent.

During the reporting period, wages, pensions, state benefits, and student stipends were financed in a timely and full manner.

The volume of capital investments utilized from all funding sources was 4.3 percent higher compared to the same period last year.

A report was also presented on the work carried out from January to June 2026 as part of implementing the "Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country in 2022–2028," including the progress of constructing various facilities.

Next, Minister of Finance and Economy M. Astanagulov reported on the execution of the State Budget, indicators of capital investment utilization, and the implementation of the National Rural Program for the first half of the year.

As reported, as of July 1 of the current year, the revenue side of the country's main financial plan was executed at 102.1 percent, and the expenditure side at 97.4 percent.

During the designated period, the revenue side of local budgets was fulfilled at 103.8 percent, and the expenditure side at 97.9 percent.

From January to June 2026, 92 meetings of balance commissions were held, including 64 regional ones, during which the financial and economic performance of ministries, sector agencies, and their subordinate institutions and enterprises was reviewed.

The volume of investments from all funding sources directed towards the development of the national economy increased by 4.3 percent compared to the corresponding period last year, amounting to 16.5 percent in relation to GDP. Of the total utilized capital investments, 45.1 percent was allocated for the construction of industrial facilities, and 54.9 percent for socio-cultural structures.

A report was also given on the work completed within the framework of the National Rural Program.

Chairman of the State Statistics Committee D. Amanmuhammedov reported on the fulfillment of plans by ministries and sector agencies for the first six months of the current year.

As reported, steady growth was noted in the industrial sector from January to June 2026. Specifically, natural gas extraction amounted to 39.1472 billion cubic meters, and oil extraction reached 4.1298 million tons. Compared to the same period in 2025, the production of diesel fuel grew by 0.7 percent, lubricating oils by 7.2 percent, petroleum bitumen by 39.9 percent, liquefied hydrocarbon gases by 64.5 percent, cement by 7.2 percent, confectionery products by 6.9 percent, sausage products by 6.7 percent, dairy products by 4 percent, and bakery products by 1.3 percent.

Positive indicators were secured in the transport and communication sector. This is clearly evidenced by freight transportation figures across all modes of transport, which increased by 3.7 percent, while passenger transportation grew by 2 percent. The volume of communication services provided increased by 15.3 percent.

In agriculture, for January–June of the current year compared to the corresponding period in 2025, grain production grew by 11.6 percent, vegetables by 12.8 percent, gourds by 3.3 percent, potatoes by 4.2 percent, and milk by 0.3 percent.

Good performance indicators for the first six months of this year were noted in the non-state sector of the economy.

The Head of the State Committee also reported on the measures being taken to improve the field of statistics in accordance with modern realities and to exchange experience in this area with international organizations.

Next, Chairman of the Central Bank T. Myalikov reported on the performance results of the country's banks for January–June 2026.

As was reported, compared to the corresponding date last year, as of July 1 of the current year, the volume of loans issued by banks for economic development increased by 7.4 percent, to the private sector by 23.6 percent, and to individuals by 24.5 percent.

As of July 1, 2026, the volume of mortgage loans issued to citizens in accordance with the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan for purchasing real estate in the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag, as well as in the velayats, increased by 17.6 percent.

After listening to the reports, President Serdar Berdymuhamedov emphasized the need to continue the large-scale transformations being carried out across all sectors of the national economy, aimed at further improving the social and living standards of the people.

It was noted that the tax system, which ensures the stability of the State Budget, should be further developed to achieve timely and full payment of taxes.

The Head of Turkmenistan stressed the necessity to strengthen control over the rational and targeted use of budget funds, take the necessary measures to ensure the execution of the revenue and expenditure sides of the State Budget by the end of the current year, and affirmed the importance of drafting the State Budget for the upcoming year within the established timeframe.

President Serdar Berdymuhamedov also highlighted that to ensure sustainable economic growth, special attention must be paid to maintaining a stable exchange rate for the national manat. At the same time, the need to consistently increase the volume of investments directed into the economy, improve banking operations, and expand the range of digital services was noted. Alongside this, the Deputy Prime Minister was instructed to further develop cooperation with international financial organizations.

Then, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers G. Agajanov reported on the results of the work done during January–June 2026 to increase oil and gas production and expand their supply routes to global markets.

As reported, during the designated period, the "Türkmennebit" State Concern fulfilled the oil production plan at 108.3 percent, and the Concern's oil refineries fulfilled the oil refining plan at 104.1 percent.

The fulfillment of the production plan for gasoline was achieved at 116 percent, diesel fuel at 111.4 percent, polypropylene at 100 percent, lubricating oils at 119.4 percent, liquefied gas at 118.5 percent, and for the extraction of natural and associated gas at 107.6 percent.

Having listened to the report, President Serdar Berdymuhamedov announced his decision to relieve G. Garlyev of his post as Chairman of the "Türkmengeologiýa" State Corporation due to his transfer to another job, and to appoint B. Amanov to this position, relieving him of his duties as Deputy Chairman of the "Türkmengaz" State Concern. In this regard, the Head of Turkmenistan signed the relevant documents.

Expressing his heartfelt gratitude to the President of the country for the high trust placed in him, B. Amanov assured that he would make every effort to successfully carry out the tasks facing the State Corporation, wishing the Head of State and Hero-Arkadag good health, longevity, and success in their activities for the prosperous life of the people and the flourishing of the Fatherland.

Then, addressing the leaders of the complex, President Serdar Berdymuhamedov noted that the priority plans are the development of the oil and gas sector and the diversification of natural gas exports to world markets. In this regard, emphasis was placed on the importance of successfully fulfilling the assigned tasks for the extraction of oil and natural gas, processing them into commercial products, and continuing the effective development of the "Galkynyş" gas field.

The Head of Turkmenistan also stressed that the production capacities of the complex's enterprises should be consistently modernized and expanded further. Additionally, instructions were given to conduct geological exploration work, increase the effectiveness of efforts to discover new hydrocarbon deposits, and produce environmentally friendly products.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Annamammedov reported on the performance results of the complex under his supervision for January–June 2026.

As reported, during this period, the fulfillment of the plan for production output and completed works in this sector was achieved at 127.9 percent.

For the Ministry of Construction and Architecture, the fulfillment of the plan for product output and completed works amounted to 104.5 percent; for the Ministry of Industry and Construction Production, it was 132.7 percent; and for the Ministry of Energy, 106.2 percent.

For the Ministry of Highways, the plan for completed works was fulfilled at 110.2 percent; for the "Türkmenhimiýa" State Concern, 114 percent; and for the Ashgabat City Khyakimlik (administration), 127.4 percent.

Hearing the report, President Serdar Berdymuhamedov focused on the need to take appropriate measures to utilize the full capacity of the construction and industrial complex enterprises, consistently expand the range and volume of manufactured products, modernize production facilities, and build new enterprises.

The Head of State also noted the importance of intensifying efforts to ensure the uninterrupted operation of chemical plants, reliable electricity supply to domestic and foreign consumers, and the reconstruction of the highway sector by strengthening its material and technical base to ensure compliance with international standards.

The President of Turkmenistan also instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to maintain strict control over the quality and timely commissioning of facilities scheduled to open by the end of this year.

Next, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers N. Atagulyev reported on the performance results of the accountable ministries, sector agencies, and the business sector for January–June of this year.

As reported, during the reviewed period, the trade turnover growth rate for the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations reached 108.8 percent compared to the same period last year.

For the Ministry of Textile Industry, the growth rate of manufactured products was secured at 106.3 percent.

The growth rate of total revenues generated by the enterprises of the "Türkmenhaly" State Association reached 107.4 percent.

During the reporting period, the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange held 146 trading sessions, registering 15,377 contracts.

For January–June 2026, the growth rate of works performed by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry was 118.5 percent. During this period, 13 exhibitions and 5 conferences were held.

For the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the production growth rate for agricultural and food products was secured at 109 percent, and for industrial goods at 110.3 percent.

Listening to the report, the Head of Turkmenistan emphasized the importance of carrying out productive work to fully utilize the production potential of the trade sector. As noted, continuous attention must be given to improving the supply of food and other high-demand products to the domestic market and retail outlets, as well as ensuring a high quality of service for the population.

Programmatic measures must continue to be taken to create new production facilities and increase the volume of manufactured goods and services provided, the President noted, affirming the importance of extensively utilizing the capabilities of the private sector in this process.

Furthermore, the necessity of implementing comprehensive measures to improve the quality of textile products and incorporating international experience in the organization of carpet and carpet product trade was highlighted. In addition, the Deputy Prime Minister was given specific instructions to further improve the activities of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as to introduce advanced technologies from developed countries to boost the country's export potential.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Seyidova reported on the performance results of her supervised sector for January–June of the current year.

As reported, during the specified period, various events were held, and the results of previously announced creative contests were summed up in honor of the 2026 motto "Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – Homeland of Goal-Oriented Winged Steeds," the glorious 35th anniversary of the sacred independence of the Fatherland, national holidays, significant dates, and the opening of socio-cultural facilities.

Culture Week was well-organized and held in the Balkan velayat.

Thanks to the peaceful foreign policy pursued by the President of Turkmenistan, various cultural events of international significance were successfully held. The capital hosted the international exhibition and conference "Turkmentravel - 2026" and TURKSOY Opera Days at a high level, while Ashgabat and Arkadag hosted the Culture Days of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Days of Culture of Turkmenistan were held in Moscow (Russian Federation), and an archaeological exhibition titled "Ancient Civilizations of Turkmenistan" took place in Rome (Italy).

The national equestrian games group "Galkynyş" and professional circus artists of our country performed successfully in the Republic of Azerbaijan and Istanbul (Turkey).

To comprehensively study historical monuments and popularize them among the youth, another phase of scientific research and restoration work was carried out at historical and cultural monuments this spring.

In addition, the Deputy Prime Minister reported on the activities of the Turkmen State Publishing Service, the Oguzkhan "Türkmenfilm" Association, and mass media outlets.

Having listened to the report, President Serdar Berdymuhamedov dismissed A. Shamyradov from the post of Minister of Culture for serious shortcomings in his work. The Head of State appointed G. Myradalyev to this position with a 6-month probationary period, relieving him of his duties as Deputy Minister of Culture, and signed the corresponding documents.

Expressing his heartfelt gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan for the trust shown, G. Myradalyev assured that he would apply all his strength and knowledge in his new role, and wished the Head of State and Hero-Arkadag strong health, longevity, and success in their work for the prosperous life of the people and the flourishing of the Fatherland.

Continuing the meeting, the Head of State noted his decision to relieve A. Hojaberdiyev of his duties as editor-in-chief of the newspaper "Nesil" for serious shortcomings in his work and to appoint H. Shanazarova to this post with a 6-month probationary period, signing the relevant documents.

Then, addressing the Deputy Prime Minister, President Serdar Berdymuhamedov noted the need for strict control over the proper organization of cultural institutions, as well as the continuation of purposeful work on the fundamental study and popularization of the people's ancient heritage and literary values. Special emphasis was placed on the importance of attracting tourists to historical and cultural monuments.

The Head of State also emphasized that the activities of libraries and museums should be improved based on international experience, new modern and meaningful feature and documentary films should be created, and the production capacities of the Turkmen State Publishing Service should be effectively utilized.

The President of the country also instructed to properly prepare for the events dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the Fatherland's independence.

Then, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Mammedov reported on the performance results of his subordinate structures for January–June of the current year.

As reported, during the period under review, the improvement of the education system continued, and advanced teaching methods were widely applied. Pupils and students won 992 medals at international subject and online olympiads.

Over the first six months of this year, measures were taken aimed at the further development of science and increasing the efficiency of scientific research. To mark Science Day, an international scientific conference was held, along with an award ceremony for the winners of a youth scientific work competition.

During the designated period, advanced methods of practical medicine were introduced into medical and preventive activities. Surgeries and medical treatments for sick children were carried out using funds from the Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care.

Alongside this, effective work was carried out to develop physical culture and sports. During the specified period, athletes from our country participated in international competitions, winning 415 various medals.

During the meeting, the Head of State signed Orders approving the admission plan for higher and secondary specialized educational institutions in 2026, approving the composition of the State Commission for Admission to higher and secondary specialized educational institutions, and approving the admission plan for courses at the Academy of Civil Service under the President of Turkmenistan for the 2026-2027 academic year, wishing great success to the young people seeking to enroll.

President Serdar Berdymuhamedov noted the importance of proper preparation for the new academic year and the timely implementation of repair work in educational institutions.

New buildings for the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction and the Seyitnazar Seydi Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute will be opened this year, the Head of State said, instructing in this regard to properly prepare for their commissioning ceremonies. Instructions were also given to continue efforts to improve the operations of these higher education institutions.

Talented and the most worthy representatives of the younger generation should be admitted to the country's universities, and entrance exams must be conducted in an organized and fair manner, ensuring public oversight, stressed President Serdar Berdymuhamedov.

Additionally, the Head of State noted the necessity of effectively continuing scientific research activities and taking concrete measures to introduce the developments produced by scientific institutions into economic sectors. Furthermore, the material and technical base of the healthcare sector must be systematically strengthened, and cooperation with specialized institutions in developed countries should be expanded to improve the quality of medical services provided to the population.

Noting the importance of continuing efforts to create conditions to attract youth to mass sports, the President of Turkmenistan addressed the corresponding instructions to the Deputy Prime Minister.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Annayev reported on the performance results of the accountable structures for the first six months of this year.

As reported, the growth rate of works performed and services rendered by the transport and communication complex was 113.9 percent.

Compared to the same period last year, the fulfillment of the cargo transportation plan by road, rail, air, sea, and river transport reached 103.1 percent, and for passenger transportation – 102.9 percent.

During the reviewed period, the service provision growth rate for the Ministry of Railway Transport was 106.8 percent, for the Ministry of Road Transport – 120.3 percent, for the "Türkmenhowaýollary" (Turkmen Airlines) State Service – 118.1 percent, for the State Service of Maritime and River Transport – 100.3 percent, and for the Ministry of Communications – 115.3 percent.

Hearing the report, President Serdar Berdymuhamedov focused on the need to consistently improve the operations of the transport and communication sector, increase the volumes of passenger and freight traffic, and enhance the quality of services provided in this field.

The Head of State also emphasized the importance of improving the effectiveness of efforts to increase capacity and modernize the railway system, expand cargo flows and transit shipments along international highways, and strengthen cooperation to optimize transport and transit corridors passing through our country.

President Serdar Berdymuhamedov emphasized the need to take practical steps to effectively utilize international airports, systematically modernize the aviation fleet, increase cargo transportation volumes through the Turkmenbashi International Seaport, and ensure productive operations at the "Balkan" Shipbuilding and Repair Yard.

Speaking about the importance of modernizing the communications sector in line with current requirements and establishing new types of services in this area, the Head of State addressed corresponding instructions to the Deputy Prime Minister.

Next, the heads of regional administrations delivered their reports.

Khyakim of the Ahal velayat T. Nurmyradov reported on the results of the work carried out in the region from January to June of the current year.

As reported, currently, the velayat is transporting the harvested wheat crop from reception points to grain elevators. On the fields cleared after the grain harvest, plowing is underway, and agricultural machinery and high-quality seed materials are being prepared for the upcoming sowing season.

In the cotton-sown fields, inter-row cultivation, mineral fertilization, and watering are continuing.

Along with this, work is underway on the velayat's agricultural lands to harvest potatoes, vegetables, and gourds, as well as preparations for the autumn sowing campaign.

Additionally, a report was given on the progress of implementing the National Rural Program.

Khyakim of the Balkan velayat H. Ashyrmyradov reported on the results of the work carried out in the region in the first half of the year.

As reported, along with transporting the harvested grain to elevators and barns, necessary measures are currently being taken to prepare the fields cleared of wheat for the upcoming sowing season.

Following agrotechnical requirements, the cotton crop is being tended to, particularly through inter-row cultivation, mineral fertilization, and watering.

At the same time, the velayat continues the harvest of potatoes, vegetables, and gourds, as well as preparations for the autumn sowing of agricultural crops.

Information was also presented regarding the implementation progress of the National Rural Program.

Next, Khyakim of the Dashoguz velayat D. Babayev presented a report on the work carried out during the first six months of the current year.

As reported, currently, to prepare for the upcoming wheat sowing on the fields cleared after the harvest, plowing and seed preparation are underway.

In the fields sown with cotton, inter-row cultivation, the application of mineral fertilizers, and watering are taking place.

Rice fields continue to receive care and mineral fertilization in accordance with agrotechnical standards.

Concurrently, the harvest of spring potatoes, vegetables, and gourds is underway, along with the supply of these products to the population.

In addition, the khyakim reported on the execution of work planned for the current year in accordance with the National Rural Program.

Then, Khyakim of the Lebap velayat D. Genjiyev reported on the region's performance results for January–June of this year.

As reported, measures are currently being taken to transport the harvested wheat from reception points to elevators and warehouses to ensure its proper storage. On the fields cleared after the harvest, work is underway to lay the foundation for next year's grain crop, specifically through plowing and the application of mineral fertilizers.

Care for the crops continues in the cotton fields.

In parallel, practical steps are being taken to harvest vegetables and gourds and supply them to the public. Rice fields are being tended to in compliance with agrotechnical standards.

A report was also heard on the ongoing work in the region within the framework of implementing the National Rural Program.

During the meeting, the President of Turkmenistan relieved the Khyakim of the Lebap velayat and Chairman of the State Committee for Water Resources, D. Genjiyev, of his post as velayat khyakim. Appointing H. Ashyrmyradov to this position, the Head of State relieved him of his duties as Khyakim of the Balkan velayat and signed the respective documents.

Expressing profound gratitude to the President of the country for the high trust placed in him, H. Ashyrmyradov assured that he would make every effort in his new post, wishing Arkadagly Hero Serdar and Hero-Arkadag strong health, longevity, and success in state affairs.

The Head of Turkmenistan announced his decision to appoint R. Jumayev as Khyakim of the Balkan velayat, relieving him of his duties as Khyakim of the Ak Bugday etrap (district) in the Ahal velayat, and signed the relevant documents.

Khyakim of the Mary velayat D. Annaberdiyev reported on the results of the work performed in the region over the first six months of the current year.

As reported, currently, the harvested grain is being transported from reception points to elevators and barns, and fields cleared after the harvest, along with high-quality seeds, are being prepared for the upcoming sowing season.

Inter-row cultivation, mineralization, and watering are being carried out in the cotton fields.

At the same time, the harvest of vegetables and gourds, the delivery of these products to the population, and the preparation of farmlands for the autumn crop sowing are underway.

Along with this, fields sown with sugar beet are being irrigated, and areas where shoots have emerged are receiving care.

Additionally, a report was provided on the ongoing work in the velayat as part of the National Rural Program implementation.

During the meeting, the President of Turkmenistan announced his decision to relieve D. Annaberdiyev of his position as Khyakim of the Mary velayat due to a transfer to another job, and to appoint B. Orazgylyjov, who currently works as Director of the Agriculture Research Institute of the Ministry of Agriculture, to this post.

Expressing deep gratitude to the President of the country for the high confidence placed in him, B. Orazgylyjov assured that he would make every effort for fruitful work in his new position, wishing Arkadagly Hero Serdar and Hero-Arkadag sound health, long life, and success in their endeavors for the well-being of the people and the prosperity of the Homeland.

Next, the floor was given to Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atahallyev, who, preceding his report, delivered the good news that the country's grain growers had harvested over 1.4 million tons of grain, successfully fulfilling the established plan.

Expressing heartfelt appreciation to the President of Turkmenistan and Hero-Arkadag for the support provided in the comprehensive development of the agricultural sector, the Deputy Prime Minister wished the Head of State and the National Leader of the Turkmen people strong health, long life, and success in their ongoing work to ensure the well-being of the Turkmen people and the prosperity of the Motherland.

A report was then presented on the performance results of the supervised sector for the first half of the year, as well as on the progress of agricultural campaigns in the velayats.

For the agricultural complex, the production growth rate compared to the same period last year was 109.8 percent. For the Ministry of Agriculture, this indicator equaled 106.4 percent, the Ministry of Environmental Protection – 100.1 percent, the State Committee for Water Resources – 104.8 percent, the "Türkmenpagta" (Turkmen Cotton) State Concern – 100.9 percent, the "Türkmengallaönümleri" (Turkmen Grain Products) State Association – 123.2 percent, the "Türkmenobahyzmat" (Turkmen Agricultural Services) State Association – 100.1 percent, the State Association of Food Industry – 118.7 percent, the State Association of Livestock and Poultry Industry – 105.2 percent, and the "Türkmen atlary" (Turkmen Horses) State Association – 112.3 percent. The investment utilization plan was fulfilled at 135.5 percent.

As reported, necessary measures are currently being implemented as part of seasonal campaigns to transport the harvested wheat from reception points to warehouses and elevators, as well as to ensure the rational placement and proper storage of the grain. The foundation for future harvests is being laid, specifically through the plowing of lands cleared after the harvest and the preparation of high-quality seeds, agricultural machinery, and units that will be used in the upcoming sowing season.

In the cotton-sown areas, inter-row cultivation, mineral fertilization, and irrigation are being carried out in accordance with agrotechnical standards.

Rice fields are being cared for in the Dashoguz and Lebap velayats.

Addressing Deputy Prime Minister T. Atahallyev, agricultural sector leaders, and the khyakims of the velayats, as well as the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag, the Head of State emphasized the importance of strict control over the successful implementation of the "Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country in 2022–2028" and the National Rural Program, as well as the progress of constructing residential buildings, hospitals, and other social facilities in the velayats and cities, and the further transformation of the architectural appearance of the cities.

The Head of State also noted that work should continue on supplying the population with drinking water, electricity, and natural gas, as well as maintaining cleanliness and timely landscaping.

Along with this, the President of Turkmenistan stated the necessity of ensuring the proper and full execution of local budgets.

The Head of State also stressed the importance, in order to obtain high crop yields, of providing care in accordance with agrotechnical requirements. He urged strengthening organizational and methodological work to increase agricultural crop yields, particularly of grain and cotton, supplying high-quality wheat seeds, expanding the variety and improving the quality of manufactured food products, and modernizing food industry enterprises.

At the same time, it was underscored that continuous attention must be paid to supplying the population with flour, bread, and bakery products, improving the effectiveness of ongoing efforts to increase livestock and poultry numbers, and ensuring strict control over the efficient use of agricultural machinery and equipment.

The President of Turkmenistan highlighted the importance of properly organizing cotton processing at specialized enterprises and supplying textile complexes with high-quality raw materials.

Furthermore, instructions were given regarding the execution of effective work on the rational use of water resources and the creation of additional water reserves.

The Head of State ordered further measures to be taken to protect the environment, turn the country into a blooming garden, develop horse breeding, and increase the population of Akhal-Teke horses.

Addressing the participants of the expanded meeting, President Serdar Berdymuhamedov noted with satisfaction that a bountiful wheat harvest had been gathered in the country, and the peasant grain-growers had delivered high-quality grain to the Motherland's granaries, achieving excellent results.

"The harvested wheat crop is the wealth of our native people and our sovereign Fatherland, representing prosperity and abundance for our sachaks (traditional dining tables)," the Head of State said.
