The President of Turkmenistan held a working meeting on the digital system

Today, Honorable President Serdar Berdimuhamedow held a working meeting via a digital system with the participation of T. Atahallyýew, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, and the governors (häkims) of the provinces. The meeting reviewed matters related to the ongoing work in the country's agricultural complex and its regions. Ahal Province First, the Governor of Ahal Province, T. Nurmyradow, reported on the ongoing seasonal agricultural work in the region. It was noted that efforts are currently underway to transport the harvested wheat from grain reception points to warehouses and elevators. As part of the preparations for next year's crop, fields cleared of grain are being plowed, and wheat seeds are being prepared for the upcoming season. In the cotton fields, inter-row cultivation, mineral fertilization, and vegetative irrigation are continuing, with effective use being made of agricultural machinery. Appropriate measures are also being taken to harvest vegetable and gourd crops grown in the province's fields and deliver them to the population. Additionally, the governor reported on the progress of construction work at cultural, social, and industrial facilities scheduled for commissioning this year in accordance with programs aimed at the socio-economic development of the country. The Honorable President listened to the report and instructed to ensure that the remaining grain harvest in the fields is gathered down to the last grain, the foundation for next year's wheat crop is laid, and cotton care is carried out properly. The Head of State also ordered that close supervision be maintained over the work being carried out in the province within the framework of socio-economic development programs. Balkan Province The Governor of Balkan Province, H. Aşyrmyradow, reported on the seasonal agricultural work in his region. He noted that the harvesting of the wheat crop down to the last grain and its transportation to elevators and warehouses is currently underway. Necessary measures are also being taken to plow fields cleared of grain and prepare wheat seeds for the next planting season. In the cotton fields, inter-row cultivation, vegetative irrigation, and mineral fertilization continue. Guided by the tasks set to further strengthen food abundance in the country, relevant work is being carried out in the province to harvest potatoes and other vegetable and gourd crops to supply domestic markets. Furthermore, the governor reported on the progress of construction at facilities scheduled for commissioning this year under the National Rural Program. The Honorable President listened to the report, drew attention to the ongoing seasonal work, and noted the necessity of harvesting the crop grown by the diligent farmers down to the last grain and ensuring that cotton care conforms to agrotechnical standards. He then gave several instructions. The Head of State ordered that the work being carried out in the province in accordance with socio-economic development programs be kept under close supervision. Daşoguz Province Next, the floor was given to the Governor of Daşoguz Province, D. Babaýew. He began by sharing the good news that the province's diligent grain growers had successfully fulfilled their contractual obligations to deliver the wheat harvest to the country's granary. On behalf of the residents of the province, he expressed gratitude to the Honorable President and Hero Arkadag for the excellent conditions created for productive work. The governor then reported on seasonal agricultural activities in the region. He stated that the grain harvest is currently in its final stage, and necessary measures are being taken to gather the crop without losses down to the last grain. To prepare the foundation for next year's harvest, plowing is underway on fields cleared of grain. Inter-row cultivation, mineral fertilization, and vegetative irrigation are being carried out in an integrated manner in cotton fields. Work is also underway to harvest spring potatoes, vegetables, and gourds to supply domestic markets. Fields planted with rice are being tended to and given mineral fertilizers according to agrotechnical standards. Inter-row cultivation, mineral fertilization, and vegetative irrigation are being performed in cotton fields. Appropriate work is also being carried out to harvest vegetables and gourds and deliver them to the population. Concurrently, the planting of sugar beets continues in the province, with germination irrigation being applied to the planted fields. Tending operations are being performed in the rice fields of Daşoguz and Lebap provinces, while germination irrigation and subsequent crop care are being carried out in the sugar beet fields of Mary province.
