The President of Turkmenistan has signed several documents concerning the admission of students to higher and secondary vocational education institutions in 2026

The President of Turkmenistan has signed a decree. In accordance with the document, the composition of the state commission for the admission of students to higher and secondary professional educational institutions of Turkmenistan in 2026 has been approved. The State Commission has been tasked with providing organisational and methodological leadership for the 2026 admissions to higher and secondary professional education institutions in Turkmenistan, and with organising its conduct in accordance with the established procedure. The governors of the provinces, Ashgabat and Arkadag City were tasked with creating the necessary conditions for the proper functioning of the working groups on admissions to higher and secondary vocational education institutions of Turkmenistan. Also, in accordance with the Decree signed by the President of Turkmenistan, in 2026, the regions, the plan for the admission of students to higher education institutions of Turkmenistan from the provinces, the city of Ashgabat and the city of Arkadag, and the plan for the admission of students to secondary vocational education institutions of Turkmenistan in 2026 were approved. Admissions to higher and secondary professional education institutions of Turkmenistan from 13 July to 24 August 2026 It was announced that the organisation of enrolment for higher and secondary professional education institutions will take place from 13 July to 24 August 2026, with entrance examinations being held at the institutions' locations.
