Why were payment cards invented?
In fact, payment cards were created in the mid-last century to eliminate the need for carrying cash. However, when a person pays with cash, they have a clear sense that the money is gone. This phenomenon is known as 'payment pain' by psychologists. However, this feeling is less pronounced when paying by card, as the person is not physically handling the money.
